I design and deliver neurodiversity training for workplaces including offices, educational establishments, charities, retailers, service providers, healthcare providers… just about anywhere in fact!
I bring my own lived experience, insights from the neurodivergent community, scientific research and a flair for public speaking and engagement to create compelling and informative sessions for your organisation.
General neurodiversity awareness
For general neurodiversity awareness and understanding, suitable for all staff, I offer a one hour Understanding Neurodiversity session which covers the terminology and context, six common conditions, how to effectively support and work with neurodivergent people and a Q&A session.
If you’d rather a more interactive session I have a 90 minute Understanding Neurodiversity workshop which builds on the hour and covers preconceptions and reality and encourages employees to share and discuss experiences of neurodiversity in action. We finish with a quiz and a Q&A session.
Managers and HR
For a more in depth session covering legal requirements, the recruitment process, reasonable adjustments and a deeper look at neurodivergent conditions I offer an additional 90 minute workshop on Accommodating Neurodiversity suitable for all employees, but particularly useful for line managers and HR staff.
These two workshops can be delivered as a single half day session if that is preferred.
Autism and ADHD specific courses
I have two one-hour deep dive sessions for Autism and ADHD, explaining these neurotypes and the unique challenges and strengths that come from being autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD. These sessions are suitable for anyone looking to gain a more rounded, in-depth understanding of these neurodevelopmental differences.
There is a lot of information in these deep dive sessions, making them useful for managers, parents, neurodivergent individuals, carers and anyone looking for a solid base from which to further explore these neurotypes.
Not what you’re looking for?
I can also create bespoke sessions, add a longer Q&A session, present generally about my experiences as a neurodivergent person or take part in panel discussions.
Sessions are delivered online, or in person at your premises. I am based in West Sussex and include up to 30 miles of driving for in person sessions. Longer distances, including overnights, can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
I am also a certified ADHD coach, read more about that here.
Please contact me for prices and availability. Discounts available for charities, non-profits and CICs.
